Workforce Inclusion Coffee Talk Series

The Arc Central Chesapeake Region, a nonprofit committed to providing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain independence, today announced its workforce inclusion coffee talk series. Many Fortune 500 companies, including Starbucks and Walgreens have had proven success with workforce inclusion that has dramatically increased their bottom line.

The Arc Central Chesapeake Region invites the public to join them during the month of March, as they celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and to learn about the benefits of having an inclusive workforce and the latest research involving inclusion, strategies for diversity, and tips to make your company go from good to great. Retention and recruitment strategies, successful partnerships, and facts & figures of inclusion will also be discussed. Free coffee will be provided.

March 1 – Caroline Chamber Coffee Talk, Caroline Chamber Office, 7:30 am

March 8 – Talbot Chamber Lunch and Learn, Talbot Chamber Office, 12:00 pm

March 11 – Starbucks Solomon’s Island Road, Annapolis, 7:30 am

March 18 – Annapolis Starbucks West Street, Annapolis, 7:30 am

March 21 – Salisbury Starbucks, South Salisbury Blvd., 9:00 am

March 22 – Kent County Chamber Coffee Talk, Kent Chamber office, 8:00 am

March 28 – Ocean City, 123rd Street Starbucks, 9:00 am

March 29 – Dorchester Chamber Coffee, Cambridge Starbucks, 7:30 am
