Compass Regional Hospice April Grief Support Groups

Compass Regional Hospice is a regional provider of hospice care, palliative care, and grief support in Queen Anne’s, Kent and Caroline counties. “Care on your terms” is the promise that guides staff and volunteers as they care for patients in private residences, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and the residential hospice centers in Centreville and Chestertown. Grief support services are offered to children, adults and families of patients who died under hospice care, as well as to members of the community who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

Kent County Grief Support Group

Tuesdays, April 16-June 4 • 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Kent County Public Library, Yellow Building, 408 High Street, Chestertown

Guests are encouraged to attend the entire series to benefit the most from the group. Open to anyone 18 and older who is suffering the loss of a spouse or partner. Bereaved Parent Grief Support Group

April 1 • 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville

A drop-in group for individuals, 18 and older, dealing with the loss of a child. Meets the first Monday of each month. For more information, contact Rhonda Knotts at 443-262-4109 or rknotts@compassregionalhospice.org.

HALOS-Healing After a Loved One’s Suicide Grief Support Group

April 10 • 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville

A drop-in group for individuals, 18 and older, dealing with the loss of a loved one from suicide. Meets the second Wednesday of each month. Drug Overdose Grief Support Group

April 18 • 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Compass Regional Hospice, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville

A drop-in group for individuals, 18 and older, dealing with the loss of a loved one from a substance overdose. Meets the third Thursday of each month for dinner and conversation/discussion. All Losses Grief Support Group

April 23 • Noon-1:15 p.m.

Caroline County Public Library, Federalsburg branch, 123 Morris Avenue, Federalsburg

A drop-in group for individuals, 18 and older, who have experienced any type of loss. Bring a lunch. Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month. For more information, contact Wayne Larrimore at 443-262-4108 or wlarrimore@compassregionalhospice.org.
