Feed Those Protecting the Eastern Shore

Chris Agharabi, owner of Ava’s Pizzeria and Theo’s Steakhouse with locations in St. Michaels and Cambridge, is the local organizer of an effort called “Feed the Frontline” that has the goal of feeding the essential workers who are on the frontline of the Talbot County and Dorchester County emergency operations teams. The effort also supports local restaurants and their employees by providing jobs and the possibility to open previously closed businesses.

Feed the Frontline Maryland Eastern Shore is a joint initiative of several organizations in Dorchester and Talbot counties. The objective of the program is to provide meals for COVID-19 Frontline Workers while at the same time providing much needed business to local restaurants.

Through Mid-Shore Community Foundation (MSCF), all donations are tax deductible and will be accounted for to ensure they are used for the purpose specified. Each county will have a separate fund and donors can choose the county in which they want to fund meals. The partner organizations are donating time and funds to cover all administrative costs so your donation will be used to buy meals for the frontline.

The Goal

Mobilize Maryland’s Eastern Shore to donate meals to essential workers and medical personnel in a time of crisis while helping restaurants survive.

Order and Pay for Food

When you donate, we will order meals from locally owned restaurants. Depending on the donation we can feed five police officers on patrol or an entire ER shift crew.

Our Frontline Heroes get fresh, local food

Doctors, nurses, techs, police, rescue, and other COVID-19 units are working hard to save lives. Let’s feed them.
