OCC Announces July Programming

The Oxford Community Center (OCC) in Oxford is producing programming for virtual and outdoor audiences only. Currently, the guidelines restrict indoor activities and events that invite spectators to gather inside. Therefore, the OCC created a lineup of incredible concerts and classes offered online and outdoors to keep us all connected and thriving. It is the mission of the center to enrich community life by fostering educational, cultural, recreational, and social opportunities.

All events will require online pre-registration up to 50 people to best manage social distancing and headcounts. Each registrant is recognized as opting-in to attend on their own volition. Masks are required upon entrance and exit and when in the building for bathroom access. Bathrooms will be staffed with attendants for extra sanitation. The alcoholic beverages will be credit cards only, and non-alcoholic beverages will be free self-serve to reduce touch points. OCC is committed to following the safety practices offered in the CDC guidelines and take the health of the community as utmost importance. The full list of safety protocols and requirements are listed on the oxfordcc.org website.

The office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with access to the director by appointment only. The Community Center welcomes everyone and hopes that people will connect with them on Facebook and YouTube. Search for the page “Oxford Community Center, Inc” to find the virtual programs. The website will also provide direct links.
