Symphony Village Outreach Program, Inc. (SVOPI) will host its 7th Artisans’ Fair on Saturday, September 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., rain or shine, at the Symphony Village Clubhouse, located at 100 Symphony Way in Centreville.

Forty local artisans are expected to offer their handcrafted creations for sale. Items include paintings, collages, and prints in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolor, and acrylic; several kinds of hand-crafted jewelry, including hand-cut stone, sea glass, sterling silver, and gemstone; handmade soaps and lotions; scroll saw woodworking; custom-created fascinators; novels and non-fiction works; dog and cat accessories including homemade treats; wood turnings; ropework creations; a wide variety of crochet and knit items; fused glass creations; clothes for 18-inch dolls such as American Girl; handmade tobacco pipes and accessories; wooden jewelry, pens, and pencils; wreaths; beaded pickle forks and servers; and much more.

Bag lunches will be available for purchase and there will be several raffles and door prizes (need not be present to win). Admission to the Artisans’ Fair is free (donations gratefully accepted), and there is plenty of free parking. SVOPI is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and SVOPI’s portion of the proceeds will go to support other non-profit and civic organizations in Queen Anne’s County.
