The Community Club of Preston will host a Luncheon and Spring Fashion Show on Saturday, April 1 at noon at the Preston Fire Department, located at 3680 Choptank Road in Preston. The theme of the luncheon is “Linens, Lace and Lovely Glass.” The event will feature these items from club members’ personal collections and make a lovely setting for the event.

Fashions provided by TaylorMarie’s will be modeled by local women who represent various fields of public service. Seating is limited for the event; tickets must be purchased in advance, the cost is $12. Guests to the luncheon will also have a chance to win one of more than 20 door prizes. Funds from the Luncheon and Spring Fashion Show help support many of the club’s missions, which include its Little Free Library located at the Preston Town Park, providing funds to local schools and funding college scholarships to Colonel Richardson High School seniors. The deadline for this year’s Community Club of Preston scholarship is April 15. Applications may be obtained at the guidance office of Colonel Richardson High School.
