Mother’s Day Flower Sale

A Mother’s Day Flower Sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at the VFW, located at 355 Glebe Road in Easton. Many varieties of annual and perennial flowers, hanging baskets and decorative pots and succulents will be available for purchase.

This fundraising effort is instrumental in achieving Bayside Breeze 14U Black’s annual goal to help provide funding for field and facility rentals, registration and insurance fees, tournament entry fees, training costs, equipment costs, umpire costs, and uniform costs.

Bayside Breeze Fastpitch is a non-profit organization established in 1996. The mission of the organization is to provide young women the opportunity to develop as individuals and athletes while learning and performing the skills necessary to excel competitively in Fastpitch Softball. The principal purpose of the organization is to develop a softball program based upon the ideals of good sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and respect of teammates and opponents through quality instruction of technical, tactical, physical and psychological aspects of softball. The members of the organization have established a support system that enables athletes to develop academically, mentally, and physically; preparing them for college and playing collegiate softball. The team has members living all around the Mid-Shore area in Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester and Queen Anne’s counties.
