“Rivers of the Eastern Shore” with Dennis Forney and Karen Footner

A classic returns in a second edition, Rivers of the Eastern Shore, by Hulbert Footner. Footner’s social history is a spirited tribute to the people and rivers that made the Eastern Shore geographically and culturally distinctive. It begins with its early settlements and encompasses American and local historic milestones taking readers back to the 1940s. Karen Footner is the granddaughter of the author and Dennis Forney is the publisher.
