SOAR for Veterans is an inaugural cycling fundraiser to take place on Saturday, June 2^nd, 2018 at the Talbot Community Center in Easton, MD. The event includes four rides – a ten mile family fun ride, 25 and 50 mile fitness rides and a 62.5 mile metric century. All rides are on Talbot County roads open to traffic, and are fully supported with four rest stops and on-road support.

The ride coincides with the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall, a 3/5 replica of the Vietnam Veterans Wall at the VFW grounds from May 31 – June 6. All riders have an opportunity to stop to visit the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall to pay respects.

All event proceeds support the Mid-Shore Recovering Veterans Group – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to assisting Mid-Shore US veterans from all foreign conflicts who have served our country in any capacity, in any country, at any time. The organization offers wheelchair and handicap ramps, and engages veterans and their families to come together for hiking, biking, fishing and more.
