A Jimmy Buffett Tribute! The Chris Sacks Band
Saturday, August 4
The Chris Sacks Band is best defined as a mixture of red blooded American music mixed with the blue seawaters of the Caribbean. The laidback, barefoot style of the band covers from B to Z, from Jimmy Buffett to Tom Petty and all the way down to the Zac Brown Band (and everywhere in between). The sound of Chris Sacks Band fuses Tropical Rock with Americana Rock to create a sound that is uniquely theirs. Call it “Tropicana Rock.”
The USAF Heritage of America Band
Sunday, August 12 • 5 p.m.
Idlewild Park, Easton
The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring hearts and minds, building and sustaining American patriotism, and enhancing esprit de corps in the United States Air Force. It was one of the original Army Air Corps bands, created by order of the Secretary of War on October 1, 1941, and assigned to Barksdale Field, Louisiana. In June 1946, after a short stay at Brooks Field, Texas, the band arrived at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, its current home.
Ball in the House
Saturday, August 18
Following in the path of classic harmony groups like Boyz II Men, The Temptations, and Take 6, while incorporating the pop and neo-soul influence of artists like Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, and Pharrell Williams, five-member veteran vocal band, Ball in the House, will move audiences with their music.
Saturday, August 25
Mule Train, one of the Mid-Shore’s most popular local bands, will conclude the Tidewater Inn Concert Series. Come on out and join the good time. Dancing is encouraged.
