Upcoming Musical Acts in Easton

August 3 @ 8:00 am - August 25 @ 5:00 pm

The Avalon Foundation and The Tidewater Inn present more free, family-fun programing through the month of August. The Tidewater Inn Concert is part of the Avalon Foundation’s Outdoor Summer Concert Series, which provides free music in the streets of downtown Easton throughout the summer on select Saturday evenings. All of the outdoor shows start at 7 p.m. and take place on Harrison Street alongside The Tidewater Inn, unless otherwise noted. Reservations for the outdoor patio can be made by calling Hunter’s Tavern at The Tidewater Inn at 410-822-4034. The concert list includes the following:

A Jimmy Buffett Tribute! The Chris Sacks Band

Saturday, August 4

The Chris Sacks Band is best defined as a mixture of red blooded American music mixed with the blue seawaters of the Caribbean. The laidback, barefoot style of the band covers from B to Z, from Jimmy Buffett to Tom Petty and all the way down to the Zac Brown Band (and everywhere in between). The sound of Chris Sacks Band fuses Tropical Rock with Americana Rock to create a sound that is uniquely theirs. Call it “Tropicana Rock.”

The USAF Heritage of America Band

Sunday, August 12 • 5 p.m.

Idlewild Park, Easton

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band has a rich history of inspiring hearts and minds, building and sustaining American patriotism, and enhancing esprit de corps in the United States Air Force. It was one of the original Army Air Corps bands, created by order of the Secretary of War on October 1, 1941, and assigned to Barksdale Field, Louisiana. In June 1946, after a short stay at Brooks Field, Texas, the band arrived at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, its current home.

Ball in the House

Saturday, August 18

Following in the path of classic harmony groups like Boyz II Men, The Temptations, and Take 6, while incorporating the pop and neo-soul influence of artists like Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, and Pharrell Williams, five-member veteran vocal band, Ball in the House, will move audiences with their music.

Mule Train

Saturday, August 25

Mule Train, one of the Mid-Shore’s most popular local bands, will conclude the Tidewater Inn Concert Series. Come on out and join the good time. Dancing is encouraged.

The Avalon Foundation’s Stoltz Listening Room, located on the second floor of the Avalon Theatre, located at 40 East Dover Street in historic Easton, heats back up in August with a ton of great summer shows in the swanky, air-conditioned confines of the 60-seat room. Upcoming shows include:
