WineFest at St. Michaels
April 27 - April 28
In its 10th year, WineFest at St. Michaels will give wine lovers the opportunity to taste and purchase over 400 diverse wines from across the globe while enjoying the charming hospitality of historic St. Michaels. The two-day event will be held Saturday, April 27 and Sunday, April 28 from noon to 5 p.m. daily.
WineFest at St. Michaels features up to 12 venues located throughout the town. Each venue offers a unique tasting experience ranging from small venues highlighting Maryland wineries to larger venues pouring wines from California, Oregon, Washington State, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Chile, Argentina, and Italy.
“Providing access to great wine, especially those not easily available to most buyers, is important to us. Whether you’re new to wine or a serious oenophile, we want every WineFest attendee to find wines they love,” says George Wilson, co-founder of WineFest at St. Michaels.
The WineFest at St. Michaels VIP Experience includes exclusive access to a VIP tasting cruise aboard The Patriot and the VIP tastings at The Old Brick Inn. Both venues feature highly rated U.S. and international wines at advantageous pricing. Food pairings are provided as part of the VIP venue experience.
Outside vendors will be coming to WineFest to bring their unique foods and goods: Maryland crab cakes and Smith Island cake, local oysters, tasty oils, hand-painted glasses and wine-related items, hand-crafted jewelry, vegan handbags, wine crate crafts, fancy hats, nautical/waterfowl decorations, and other Eastern Shore specialties.
General admission tickets may be purchased as a two-day Wine Pass for Saturday and Sunday or Sunday only. Tickets for the VIP Experience are limited but are also available online to purchase. On each day of the event, tickets will be available for purchase at two ticket tent locations in town: St. Michaels Elementary School (turn right at Seymour Street and turn into the school parking lot) and at Guilford and Company located near the corner of Cherry and Talbot streets. Free shuttle bus service will be available from the school ticket tent location.
