Working Artist Forum Group Exhibit
June 2, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
“A Brush with Summer,” featuring members of The Working Artists Forum, will open at the A.M. Gravely Gallery, located at 408 South Talbot Street in St. Michaels, on Friday, June 2 and run through July 30. There will be receptions open to the public, part of the Second Saturday Art Walk in St. Michaels, on June 10 and July 8 from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Working Artists Forum (WAF) is a non-profit organization of 90 professional working artists from the Eastern Shore and surrounding areas who meet monthly at the Academy Art Museum in Easton for lectures, critiques and demonstrations and exhibit their work in a variety of venues throughout the year. Membership is established by a jury composed of fellow artists. WAF members actively exhibit their work separately and together and have pieces in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States and internationally. WAF also donates funds and mentorship to students in the Talbot, Kent, Caroline, Queen Anne and Dorchester county schools to promote the visual arts.
For this show, member artists of The Working Artists Forum will display original paintings in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel, along with works in pen and ink, mixed media and printmaking. For more information about The Working Artists Forum, visit www.theworkingartistsforum.com.
