Crashbox Theatre is excited to announce this year’s Guest Instructor for the 2019 Summer Theatre Intensives, Tony Honor for Excellence in Theatre recipient, Kevin Massey. He will join the Crashbox Theatre’s highly qualified instructional team that consists of Richard and Amber Vitanovec, Andrea Davis, and Erinne Lewis.
Kevin will bring a wealth of knowledge from his experiences playing a wide variety of roles on Broadway such as Tom Copley in “A Gentleman’s Guide To Love And Murder,” Huey Calhoun in “Memphis,” Tarzan in “Tarzan,” as well receiving a Tony Award for his performance in “Big River.” Kevin has also performed in numerous national and international tours, regional theatre productions, and The Broadway Concert Series at the 2019 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
The Crashbox Theatre 2019 Summer Theatre Intensives is the only summer theatre programming on the Mid Shore with a team of professionals instructing participants and is offered to 3rd through 5th grade students and 6th graders to college level. This year’s dates are June 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, July 1, 2, 3 and 5. There is a Showcase on July 6 that is free and open to the public. The camp and performance will be held at the Easton High School Auditorium.
