Exhibit Honors WWII Veterans in Talbot County

On view at the Talbot Historical Society is an exhibit entitled “Honoring WWII Veterans of Talbot County” at the Neall House Galleries, located at 29 South Washington Street in Easton. This exhibit honors the men and women who served in the military both in this country and overseas with special tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in WWII.

In addition, this exhibit will focus on the various and creative ways in which all our communities pulled together on behalf of the war effort here at home. There will be displays and historical information about the county’s participation in the war that may surprise many visiting the exhibit.

The exhibit will be open to the public every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by appointment through September. For more information, call the Talbot Historical Society at 410-822 0773.
