Wye Grist Mill Grinding Day

The mill is open through mid-November. Grinding Days are the first and third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Millers demonstrate the traditional stone grinding process. The Wye Grist Mill has been nearly continuously grinding grain since 1682 and produced flour that fed George Washington’s Continental army during the American Revolutionary War. Camp New Dawn is a retreat for children and teens who are grieving normally after the death of an important loved one.
