Bountiful Flooring Hosts Tile Making Event

June 17, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Bountiful Flooring will host a hands-on tile painting workshop on Saturday, June 17 at the store’s TalbotTown Shopping Center location. The event, which is limited to 15 participants, runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and is free of charge. Kiln Born Creations, a pottery and tile making event space located in Easton, is participating in the event.

“This workshop is designed to be both fun and educational,” Ellen Fink says. Ellen is the manager of Bountiful Flooring, a store she describes as “the most comprehensive source of wood, tile, carpeting, rugs and Hunter Douglas products on the Mid-Shore.”

Workshop participants will receive their own tile bisques to paint any way they choose. The tiles will then be fired at Kiln Born Creations and returned to the store for pick up.

Ellen says, “The tile painting is the fun part, but we hope that the rest of the workshop is engaging as well. I plan to spend some time showing people the amazing array of tiles that are available on the market today, while explaining the best uses for different categories of tiles. We’ll also do some designing with tiles to show their incredible versatility and design impact as backsplashes and on floors, walls and even ceilings.”

Bountiful Flooring is located at 218 North Washington Street, Easton. To reserve a spot in the workshop, which will also include an afternoon snack and wine, call Bountiful Flooring at 410-822-2622 or email Ellen Fink at EllenF@bountifuldecor.com.
