Down River Race
June 16 | 9 a.m.
Rock Hall Yacht Club, 22759 McKinleyville Road, Rock Hall
This is a point-to-point race, open to all dinghy, one design, or day sailing classes. The race will begin near the Chester River Yacht and Country Club (CRY&CC) dock, run down the Chester River for approximately 12 nautical miles and finish near the entrance to Langford Creek and the Rock Hall Yacht Club (RHYC). The RHYC welcomes all sailors and spectators to enjoy the RHYC facilities, pool, bar, and full menu before, during and after the race. Call 410-639-2182 for details.
RHYC One Design Regatta

All one design sailing classes are welcome. The RHYC is situated on the beautiful Chester River which is a great place to sail since there is a lot of open water, limited powerboat traffic, easy beach and lift launching and plenty of grass on which to park and rig. Bay to Bay Bicycle Ride

Begins from Betterton Volunteer Fire Company
The tour, hosted by the Chestertown Lions Club, consists of four routes between 27 and 104 miles in length. The flat loop routes take in the scenery of the heartland of the Upper Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware including farmlands, old country homes, quaint towns, and great country stores. The 27- mile ride goes through historic Chestertown for those who want a less challenging ride. Spend the day touring the town, then return to join your friends at the beach.
