Community Flock Walk

Tuesday and Thursdays • 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Rails and Trails, Stepne Station Parking Lot, 400 South Cross Street, Chestertown

Each Tuesday and Thursday through November 2 at 5:30 p.m. there is a free community walk down Rails and Trails. Meet up is at Stepne Station parking lot (directly across from Wilmer Park). Museums of Kent Driving Tour

June 3 • 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Museums of Kent, Kent County

Celebrate the history and diversity of Kent County’s museums on this annual tour. Nine museums will be open to the public. Pick up a brochure and museum pass at any participating museum and get it stamped for a chance to win prizes. The tour is free and a great way to learn about the unique heritage of Kent County. Maryland Maritime Heritage Festival

Wilmer Park, 413 South Cross Street, Chestertown

Classic boats and cars will be on display in Wilmer Park and there will be more boats in the Yacht Basin for viewing. Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase on site. Saturday In the Park

A fun-filled family day at Wilmer Park. All day activities and music for all. Activities include lawn games (cornhole toss, ladder toss, bocce, volleyball, badminton), yoga classes, martial arts demos, arts and crafts, sailing events, windsurfing, kayak rental and swap, guided kayak tour of Radcliffe Creek, food trucks, dancing, playground, live music at two venues and more. Short Attention Span Theatre

The Garfield Center for the Arts will feature its annual celebration of playwrights, directors and actors who delight in the art of the 10-minute play. Short Attention Span Theatre (SAST) offers an evening of 10-minute plays, designed to hold your attention for “just. long. enough.” Short Attention Span Theatre will run three weekends: June 23-25, June 30-July 2, and July 7-9.
