Oxford Walking Tours

June 11, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Oxford will once again feature an historic walking tour about town. Consider joining Leo Nollmeyer, Oxford’s true historian, and hear about life in the waterman’s town through the years. Leo, assisted by his wife, Jean, guides visitors and tour groups, giving them an ample serving of Oxford’s early history and some interesting tales along the way.

The Nollmeyers generously donate their time and the tour is free to the public. Any donation received from the tour is given to the Oxford Museum. The public is invited to join Leo on his scheduled summer Oxford Historic Tour on Sunday, June 11 and Sunday, July 16. Those interested should meet at the ferry dock at 10 a.m. The walk concludes at 11:15 a.m. Prepare to be taken back in time to the mid-1600s for a great history lesson.
