The Pigs Return to Oxford 2018
September 3, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join family and friends on Labor Day, September 3, for PigaFigalicious, Oxford’s fundraiser that benefits the Oxford Museum. It will be held at the Oxford Fire Hall from noon until 2 p.m.
In addition to great all-you-can-eat roast pork and BBQ chicken with all the fixins, there will be special dishes created with figs by Oxford’s own chef extraordinaire, Richard Bank. There will also be entertainment by DJ Chris Startt, a 50/50 cash raffle and other surprises.
Tickets are $25 per person before September 1 and $35 at the door. Children 10 and under are half price. Tickets include non-alcoholic beverages with a cash bar for beer and wine. Scottish Highland Creamery will be on hand to sell its famous ice cream. Tickets may be purchased at the Oxford Museum, online at www.oxfordmuseummd.org, or by calling 410-226-0191.
PigaFigalicious is one of Oxford’s most popular events. Proceeds are used to support Oxford Museum’s general operations and programs. Founded in 1964, this non-profit volunteer organization provides resources for historical research and presents a variety of programs, activities and exhibits to foster knowledge and appreciation of Oxford’s people and history. Admission to the museum is free; donations are always appreciated. Call 410-226-0191 or visit www.oxfordmuseummd.org for current museum hours.
