WineFest at St. Michaels 2017
April 29, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - April 30, 2017 @ 5:00 pm
VariesIn its 8th year, WineFest at St. Michaels will give wine lovers the opportunity to taste and purchase over 400 diverse wines from across the globe while enjoying the charming hospitality of historic St. Michaels. The two-day event will be held Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 from noon to 5 p.m. daily.
WineFest at St. Michaels features 15 venues located throughout the town. Each venue offers a unique tasting experience, ranging from small venues highlighting Maryland wineries to larger venues pouring 50 or more California, Washington State and internationally produced wines.
“Providing access to great wine, especially those not found in your average store, is important to us. Whether you’re new to wine or a serious oenophile, we want every WineFest attendee to find wines they love,” says George Wilson, co-founder of WineFest at St. Michaels.
The WineFest at St. Michaels VIP Experience includes exclusive access to a VIP tasting cruise aboard The Patriot and the VIP tastings at The Old Brick Inn. Both venues feature highly rated international and U.S. wines, many with limited production. For 2017, the VIP Showcases wines from the iconic Marchesi Antinori. For 26 generations the Antinori family has been involved in the production of wine. Since 1385, tradition, passion and intuition have been the three driving principles which have led the Marquis Antinori firm to become a leader in Italian wine.
