Easton Choral Arts invites high school singers to join its upcoming concert season while introducing an enhanced ECAS Choral Scholars Program, designed to better support and inspire the next generation of choral musicians.

Participation in ECAS is free for all high school singers, and all voice parts are welcome (especially tenors and basses!).

Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist church, across from Easton Middle School. The first two rehearsals are open “sing-a-long” rehearsals, giving students the opportunity to experience the ensemble before deciding whether to join. Rehearsals for the 2026-2027 season begin on Tuesday, September 8, with registration starting at 6:15pm. Practice aids are provided to help singers who are still developing their music-reading skills.

More experienced student singers are encouraged to apply for the ECAS Choral Scholars Program, a selective, year-long opportunity for high school musicians who are passionate about music, artistic growth, and community. Choral Scholars rehearse and perform alongside experienced adult singers while receiving mentorship, leadership opportunities, and a $1,000 annual scholarship.

Students who are not selected for the Choral Scholars program, or who simply wish to participate as ensemble members, are warmly encouraged to sing with ECAS. The staff and members of Easton Choral Arts deeply value young voices in their community and welcome students with a wide range of musical experience.

ECAS has long welcomed students who are unable to fit chorus into their high school schedules, as well as homeschooled students and others seeking additional musical opportunities. Whether students hope to pursue music professionally or simply enjoy singing with others, ECAS offers meaningful artistic experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment. During the season, singers perform inspiring choral repertoire alongside experienced musicians and professional artists while becoming part of a vibrant musical community.
