Studio B Art Gallery Hosts Renowned Washington Society of Landscape Painters’ “Sense of Place” Exhibition This September

Studio B Gallery

Studio B Art Gallery is thrilled to welcome back the Washington Society of Landscape Painters (WSLP) for their highly anticipated joint group exhibition, “Sense of Place,” running from September 4 through September 30, 2026.

As part of a unique multi-gallery collaboration, Studio B Art Gallery will highlight exceptional landscape works celebrating the beauty, light, and atmosphere of the Eastern Shore and beyond.

Art lovers and collectors are invited to launch the exhibit during downtown Easton’s First Friday Art Walk on September 4, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with an opening reception at the gallery.

Founded in 1913, WSLP is one of the oldest active artists’ organizations in the Greater Washington region, maintaining a selective membership capped at just 40 elected artists. This year’s “Sense of Place” exhibition is proudly sponsored by American Art Collector and International Artist Publishing.

Studio B Art Gallery will feature original works from 10 distinguished WSLP members: Alison Barry, Lani Browning, Hiu Lai Chong, Carol Cowie, Bernard Dellario, Pattee Hipschen, gallery owner Betty Huang, Chris Rapa, Jean Schwartz, and Robert Thoren.

“We are honored to host the Washington Society of Landscape Painters once again,” said Betty Huang, owner of Studio B Art Gallery. “The caliber of work this group brings to Easton is extraordinary, and having ten of these remarkable artists showing right here in our gallery gives local collectors and visitors a wonderful opportunity to experience world-class fine art up close.”

To view the complete joint exhibition online across all three participating galleries, visit www.wslp.org.
