Friends of the Library Presents Improv Comedy Show

‘Improv Easton’ to Perform at Library on October 16

Easton, MD, September 22, 2026 – The Friends of the Talbot County Free Library hosts “Laughs in the Library,” featuring the improvisational talents of the Improv Easton comedy troupe, on Friday, October 16, 6 – 8 pm. The show will be held in the main meeting room of the Easton Branch of the Library.

Tickets are $15 and may be purchased online at tcfl.org, or by cash or check at the door that night. Complimentary beverages, including soft drinks, beer and wine, will be served, and all proceeds from this FUNdraiser will benefit the Talbot County Free Library.

Jeremy Hilyard, a performer with Improv Easton and a former member of the Friends of the Library’s governing body, the Council of Friends, said, “We love performing for an audience, and meeting the comedy challenge of thinking on our feet to come up with something funny. The fact that this show will not only provide an evening of entertainment but will also contribute to the financial support of the Library makes it even better. Everyone who comes is sure to have fun.”

The funding we get from the Friends enables us to provide the broad range of programs and events we offer for children and teens, families, adults, and seniors.
