SMAL Announces Winners of Annual Members’ Show

The St. Michaels Art League (SMAL) is pleased to announce the winners of their 2026 Members Show featuring all mediums.

The show was judged by Dianne DuBois Mullaly, well-known local contemporary impressionist artist.  Diane studied at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and is especially known for her palette knife paintings in oil.  She is a devoted plein air painter, a docent at Adkins Arboretum leading Nature Art journaling groups, and a frequent instructor at Academy Art Museum in Easton.    

First Place was awarded to MaryEllyn Lynott for her painting “CBMM.” Second Place went to Stephen Walker for his painting “A Creek Runs Through It” and Third place was awarded to Abby Ober for her painting “Along the Shoreline”.  Honorable mentions went to Ted Mueller for his photograph “Getting Ready for Crabbing,” and to Scott Sullivan for his charcoal portrait “Channeling”.  Judge’s Choice also went to Lynne Davis for her painting “Stormy Sky” and to Marianne Eby for her 3D work “Geisha Sunken Treasure.”
