Tilghman Watermen’s Museum Announces Scholarship Winners

Tilghman Watermen’s Museum

The Tilghman Watermen’s Museum awards academic scholarships each year to deserving Talbot County high school seniors who attended Tilghman Elementary for primary school. We are proud to announce the scholarship winners for 2026.

Natalie Russ will be studying accounting and finance in the Honors College at Salisbury University.

Cohen Wilson, who has been running his own lawn mowing business for 5 years, will be taking business courses at Chesapeake College and/or Anne Arundel College.

Congratulations to both winners! TWM is honored to assist with their education.

Committed to celebrating, documenting, preserving, and sharing the history, traditions, heritage, and culture of Tilghman’s Island, the Tilghman Watermen’s Museum hosts an exceptional collection of local artists such as Bill Cummings, Colleen Sadler, Marc Castelli, and Nancy Tankersley. The museum contains a treasure trove of artifacts, oral histories, and boat models.

Located in the Lee House at 6031 Tilghman Island Road, the museum is open from May – October on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 3:00, and by appointment. For additional information, contact us by email: twm6031@gmail.com or visit our website: www.tilghmanmuseum.org.
