Woman’s Club of Saint Michaels Awards 2025 Scholarships to Two Outstanding Graduates

Ann Smith

Saint Michaels, Maryland — The Woman’s Club of Saint Michaels is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards: Ruby Fisher and Patrick Goeller, two exceptional graduates whose accomplishments reflect academic excellence, leadership, creativity, and commitment to their communities.

Both students will attend the University of Rhode Island this fall as they pursue their higher education goals.

Ruby Fisher has distinguished herself as a talented musical performer and accomplished artist. Known for her beautiful singing voice, Ruby has appeared in numerous St. Michaels High School productions as well as community theater performances at the Avalon. In addition to her success on stage, she is an accomplished visual artist who has been selected by the Academy Art Museum in Easton for prestigious art internships, demonstrating both her artistic talent and dedication to her craft.

Patrick Goeller plans to pursue studies in biology with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. A well-rounded scholar and leader, Patrick served as captain of the varsity tennis team and has earned membership in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society. He is also recognized as an AP Scholar, reflecting his commitment to academic achievement and excellence.

“The Woman’s Club of Saint Michaels is proud to support these remarkable young people as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys,” said Cheryl Albus, President of the Woman’s Club of Saint Michaels. “Ruby and Patrick exemplify the talent, dedication, and promise that make our community so special. We are honored to invest in their futures and look forward to seeing all they accomplish.”

The Woman’s Club of Saint Michaels has a longstanding tradition of supporting local students through its scholarship program. Funded through the generosity of club members, donors, and community fundraising efforts, the scholarships are awarded annually to deserving students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, service, and potential for future success.

The Woman’s Club extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ruby Fisher and Patrick Goeller and wishes them continued success at the University of Rhode Island and beyond.
