St. Andrew’s Foundation Announces Inaugural Golf Classic at The Links at Perry Cabin St. Michaels, MD

St. Andrew's Foundation

The St. Andrew’s Foundation of the Eastern Shore (SAFES) will host its inaugural St. Andrew’s Golf Classic on Monday, September 21, 2026, at the renowned The Links at Perry Cabin.

The tournament will bring together golfers, community leaders, and local businesses for a day of championship golf, fellowship, and philanthropy in support of the Foundation’s mission and charitable initiatives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Designed by legendary architect Pete Dye, The Links at Perry Cabin is widely regarded as one of the region’s premier golf destinations. The event will also pay tribute to the rich Scottish heritage of the game and to golf pioneer Old Tom Morris, the legendary 19th-century Scottish golfer, greenskeeper, and course designer often regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern golf. His spirit of sportsmanship, fellowship, and stewardship of the game continues to shape golf traditions around the world.

Tournament participants will enjoy an exceptional golf experience while helping raise funds to support the Foundation’s educational and community programs.

“This event is about more than golf,” said Donna Cantor, Chair of the St. Andrew’s Foundation of the Eastern Shore. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate the traditions and fellowship that make the game special while supporting important work in our community. We’re excited to launch what we hope will become a signature annual event.”

The Golf Classic will feature:
• Tournament play at The Links at Perry Cabin
• Sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations
• Food, refreshments, contests, and awards
• Networking opportunities with community and business leaders
• A celebration of golf’s Scottish roots and traditions Registration and sponsorship opportunities are now available.

Organizers encourage early registration, as player spots and premium sponsorships are expected to fill quickly.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the programs and charitable work of the St. Andrew’s Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
