It is 250 years since the signing of the founding father’s formal declaration informing the King of Britain that the United States would no longer be under the monarchy.

It was important to me to acknowledge the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the cover of the July issue. Thus, I commissioned Ryan Jacobson to visualize my idea – and he did so brilliantly.

Look for the other graphic representation of the 4th of July and the 250th anniversary of these United State of America throughout the magazine from advertisers who also “commissioned” graphic artists and designers to portray the auspice anniversary.
