Working Artists Forum Presents: 22nd Annual Local Color Art Show & Sale

Maryellyn Lynott

The Working Artists Forum (WAF) is proud to present its 22nd Annual Local Color Art Show & Sale. The exhibit takes place Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 19, at Christ Church Fellowship Hall in Easton. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the Plein Air Easton Art Festival and will feature the work of 44 juried artists from the WAF membership and other talented artists from Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This year’s show judge is Martin Geiger, recipient of Plein Air Easton’s 2025 Grand Prize Award. Local Color was juried by Murray Taylor, winner of Plein Air Easton’s 2025 Second Place Award.

Painting demonstrations will be held on the second floor above the Local Color exhibit. Continuing a long-standing tradition, all demonstration artists are previous-year Plein Air Easton award winners. Sponsored by The Working Artists Forum, all demonstrations are open to the public at no charge.

A portion of the proceeds from the show supports The Working Artists Forum’s educational outreach program, which provides art supplies to local public elementary schools. For more information about The Working Artists Forum website
